The Chevrolet Cobalt is a compact car introduced by Chevrolet as a coupe and sedan model. Chevrolet introduced the Cobalt in 2004 for the 2005 model year. Chevrolet used the GM Delta platform for building Cobalt. Chevrolet used the Cobalt to replace the Cavalier and Prizm. All Cobalts are currently manufactured at GM's Lordstown Assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio.
Cobalt is a successful model that was sold in many parts of the World and ranks second in sales. Chevrolet Cobalt was known for its fuel economy. In 2008 the Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo and HHR Panel SS Concept was introduced in many parts. Chevrolet also introduced a Super sport variant of the Cobalt in many parts.
