The Mitsubishi Raider is a mid-size pickup truck that was manufactured by Daimler Chrysler from 2006 to 2007 and by Chrysler from 2007. The Raider was marketed by Mitsubishi. The Mitsubishi Raider was introduced in 2005 and the production will end in 2010. The parts of the Mitsubishi Raider are assembled at the plant in Warren, Michigan. The Mitsubishi Raider was available in the two door truck and the four door truck body-style. The Mitsubishi Raider used the Chrysler ND platform.
The Mitsubishi Raider used the FR layout; front engine model with rear wheel drive or optional four wheel drive. The Mitsubishi Raider was used to replace the Mitsubishi Mighty Max. The Mitsubishi Raider was powered by the 3.7 Liter V6 engine or the 4.7 Liter V8 engine. The engine was supported by the four speed automatic, five speed automatic or the six speed manual transmission. The name is taken from the not very successful Dodge raider SUV that was sold from 1987 to 1990.
