The Nissan NX is a sport compact car that was manufactured and marketed by the Nissan automaker. The Nissan NX was introduced in 1991 and was manufactured for five years till 1996. The Nissan NX used the Nissan B13 platform. The Nissan NX was used to replace the Nissan Pulsar NX/EXA and the Nissan Sentra hatchback. The Nissan NX was replaced by the Nissan 200SX in North America and by the Nissan Lucino in parts of Japan. The Nissan NX was available in the two-door hatchback bodystyle.
The Nissan NX used the FF platform; front engine model with front wheel drive. The Nissan NX was available as the Nissan NX1600 or the NX2000 in parts of North America. In Europe the NX was available as the Nissan 100NX and the coupe version was used in Japan. The Nissan NX was powered by different engines that include the 1.5 LITRE GA15DS I4, 94 PS engine, 1.6 LITRE GA16DS I4 engine, 1.6 LITRE GA16DE I4, 110 PS engine, 1.8 LITRE SR18DE I4, 140 PS engine and the 2.0 LITRE SR20DE I4 engine. The engine was supported by the four speed automatic or the five speed manual transmission.
