The Plymouth Champ is a small sub-compact car that was introduced in 1970. The Plymouth Champ was not a very successful car still it was sold in different parts of the World till 1994. Plymouth Champ is an import model. The Dodge Cold and Plymouth Colt were the other cars that were in the market at the same time and had similar features and used same parts.
The Plymouth Champ was not a champion of cars as the name suggested. It could be said that Plymouth used the wrong name for this car. The Plymouth Champ was considered a small, morbidly sluggish economy car. The other small cars like the Chevrolet Chevette and Ford Pinto were used widely in most parts and were more successful than the Plymouth Champ. Plymouth Champ was not even successful in providing good fuel economy.
