The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup trucks from Chevrolet that is a part of the General Motors. The Chevrolet Colorado was introduced in 2004. Chevrolet used the Colorado to replace the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma. GM's Brazil operations and Isuzu designed the Colorado together. Chevrolet used the GMT355 platform as the base for the making of Colorado. The Colorado was available in the following colour options; Deep Ruby (Sonoma Red for the Canyon), Pace Blue (Sport Blue for the Canyon) and Imperial Blue (Midnight Blue for the Canyon).
The Colorado used both manual and automatic transmissions. In some parts the Colorado was available as either a rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive drivetrain with standard, extended, and four-door crew cab body styles. The Colorado used different types of engines and provided many options. The main type of engines that were used are the 2.8 Litre (2770 cc, 169 cu in) LK5 I4 engine, 3.5 Litre (3460 cc, 211 cu in) L52 Straight-5, 2.9 Litre (2923 cc, 178 cu in) LLV I4 and 3.7 L (3653 cc, 223 cu in) L5R I5.
