The Lincoln Continental is a distinctively styled, highly equipped luxury car produced by Lincoln, a part of Ford Motor Company. Lincoln introduced the Continental in 1939 and was a successful model that was produced till 2002. The Lincoln Continental was initially designed by Eugene T. "Bob" Gregorie as Edsel Ford's one off personal vehicle.
The special features used in the Lincoln Continental are the elegant convertible with a long hood covering the Lincoln V12, long front fenders, a short trunk with what became the Continental series' trademark and the externally mounted covered spare tire. The height was reduced making the hood closer to the hood. The Lincoln Continental did not offer many trims and is still considered one of the most beautiful cars in many parts of the World.
