The Toyota T100 is a full size pickup truck that was manufactured by Hino and was marketed by Toyota. The Toyota T100 was introduced in 1993 and was manufactured for five years till 1997 for the 1998 model year. The parts of the Toyota T100 were assembled at the plant in Hamura, Japan. The Toyota T100was replaced by the Toyota Tundra. Although Toyota T100 was introduced as a full size truck, the consumers felt that the model was smaller than the other full size trucks like the Toyota Hilux and hence was not a very successful model.
The Toyota T100 used the FR layout; front engine model with rear wheel drive or optional four wheel drive. The Toyota T100 was powered by different types of engines that include the 2.7 Litre 3RZ-FE I4 150 hp (112 kW) engine, 3.0 Litre 3VZ-E V6 150 hp (112 kW) engine, 3.4 Litre 5VZ-FE V6 190 hp (142 kW) engine and the TRD Supercharged 3.4 Litre 5VZ-FE V6 265 hp (198 kW) engine. The transmissions that were used for the Toyota T100 are the four speed automatic transmission and the five speed manual transmission.
